Daddy

The boy cries out to his father longing for him to hear. His tears are infectious, creeping into my heart.
"I just want my daddy!"
His desperation rings in my ears. I look down onto his tear kissed eyelashes and think to myself a solution to help dissolve the cries of the helpless little boy. His attachment. My disconnect. He cries the tears that I cannot cry. His words scream the desires of my heart.

The girl cries out for her father now. Her tears...... finally..... release the sorrow of her heart.
